Trading Platforms and Tools available at XTB

XTB features a flagship proprietary web trading platform called “xStation 5” for PC devices and “xStation” mobile app for both android and iOS platforms. xStation 5 gives access to more advanced tools for more advanced traders. It’s fully compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Also through xStation 5 you can choose from over 4000 instruments including CFDs for FX, cryptocurrencies, indices, commodities, stocks, and ETFs from around the world. Its user interface looks very simple and intuitive that enhances its appeal. It enables traders to build watchlists, and modifying charts all seem simple and intuitive. Maybe not the most feature-rich platform in the market like Saxo Bank or IG, but its ease of use makes it highly useful.

xStation 5 features some additional tools like heat mapping, versatile stock screener, and sentimental analysis. And some drawbacks we notice are the ability to create custom indicators and also the lack of two-step authentication secure login.

Metatrader: The only third-party trading platform available is MetaTrader 4 (downloadable) platform ( MT5 is not offered). Remember MT4 offered from XTB doesn’t support automated trading, and Spreads on the MT4 platform are slightly higher than the XTB’s flagship platform xStation 5.

XTB offers a proprietary mobile app called xStation and MetaTrader 4 mobile app. So if you used MetaTrader previously and feel comfortable with MetaTrader you can use it or you can try its proprietary mobile trading app which is available for iOS and Android platforms.

XTB REVIEW: Conclusion

Overall, XTB is an average trusted broker regulated by top-tier financial institutions. offers highly competitive pricing in forex. Opening an account is a straightforward process and deposit/withdrawal processes mostly free. Offering proprietary platform also MetaTrader 4. The bottom line is XTB could be a good choice for traders who is happy with the lack of MetaTrader’s full suite, other than that XTB broker offers many potential trading resources from which traders can be benefited from trading online.  For CFD traders there many other better choices available like XM, or Saxo Bank as their wide range of instruments and rich educational resources will satisfy most beginners and advanced traders.
